Repair a semi rigid pool

You Have a semi rigid (PVC) pool for a water feature and it gets cut or split so it leaks, its now a right off or is it?

Look within the circle you can quite clearly see a split (The surrounding area has been cleaned for clarity)

So what can be done to repair this split?

The area must be cleaned and all grit etc removed.

Next. Find and remove / prevent the cause of the split.

Next. Get a piece of pond liner big enough to cover the split.

Next.  Clean The piece of pond liner very thoroughly.

Next. Cover the split with Silicone sealant, place the piece of pond liner over the sealant.

Next. Cover the "patch" with silicone sealant, leave to dry before refilling.

Above you can see the patch is covered with sealant to ensure a good seal.
