Solar pond lights Solar pond lights come in a few varieties some float and change colour, but are they worth it? Do be aware that as its now autumn, solar lights will not be as good in the autumn / winter months because there will be less sunlight to charge the batteries, and as it gets dark earlier, the lights will not be on for that long (Because of the batteries) Do be aware that you do get what you pay for. We have seen cheap led lights that do not last for more than a few months, and when you take them back you are told they are no longer sold, I wonder why.
